Belhaven, NC

We left Alligator River Marina under a small craft advisory. Today is extremely windy and cold, but sunny. We knew the beginning of the trip would be uncomfortable, but should get better as we went. Once out of the marina we needed the Alligator River Swing Bridge to open. Then on the Alligator River the waves were on our stern, so we were still fairly comfortable. The Alligator River-Pungo River Canal is so narrow that the wind wasn't a concern.

We went to Belhaven, NC and stayed at the town dock.
