We went past Camp Lejeune. We heard them firing the big guns. It was so loud it made me jump & made my ears hurt. The concussion from the explosives shook the whole boat.
Once again we saw several dolphin & they continue to swim right under the boat.
We lost time today because we had to wait for two low swing bridges to open. We had to wait a 1/2 hour for the Onslow Swing Bridge to open & had to wait 1 hour for the Surf City Swing Bridge to open.
We ended up at Marine Max in Wrightsville Beach, NC.
Hopefully tomorrow we make it to South Carolina.
