North Carolina

Woke up again to fog. The biggest nightmare for a boater! But it was weird today because there was fog and blinding sun at the same time. At least there was no wind, and the water was dead calm. The fog left late in the morning, and the temperature hit 70 degrees. We were on the bridge in t-shirts.
We cruised through the Albermarle Sound, went around Roanoke Island, and went through the Roanoke Sound. We saw a large pod of dolphins. They came over to the boat, were swimming right off the bow and playing in our wake.
We finally needed fuel, so we stopped at Pirate's Cove Yacht Club & Marina. We took 256.4 gallons.
We ended up at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, which is in Nags Head, NC, just north of Oregon Inlet.
Tomorrow we head for Oriental, NC.
