We had a long, but easy day. The weather was perfect. We left Southport and headed up the Cape Fear River. We then went through Snow's Cut to Carolina Beach and were back on the Intracoastal Waterway. We went past Camp Lejeune and saw where the Marines take target practice along the waterway. We stopped in Swansboro at Dudley's Marina. We got the boat secured just in time before severe thunderstorms rolled through.
