Fernandina Beach

We had a great time in Palm Beach. The weather was great and we spent lot's of time enjoying the beach and pool. Al's father met us in Palm Beach and we enjoyed showing him our condo and the area for a few days. He then went to a wedding in Melbourne, while we headed back to the boat in Jacksonville. He met us in Jacksonville and spent the night on the boat. He then headed out to bring our car to New York, while we headed out with the boat for our journey to New York.

It was really hot and sunny today, but thankfully there was a nice breeze to keep us cool. We saw lot's of big ship traffic on the St. John's River today, and we made sure to stay out of their way.

We stopped at Fernandina Beach and stayed at the Fernandina Harbor Marina. I enjoyed riding my bike through the cute downtown area.

Maintenance work was being done on the railroad bridge, so we had to wait awhile before the bridge would open.
