Titusville

4/7-8/15
We went to Titusville and stopped at the Municipal Marina. That's the home port of our friends Row & Gus from Summerland. We were so happy to see them again and their dog David. We went to dinner with them and spent most of the evening talking with them. The next day they were nice enough to give us a ride to the Kennedy Space Center. We were never there before, and were surprised at how big the place was. We had a good time and learned a lot.

While we were touring the space center other looper boats that we know also came into the marina. When Row & Gus picked us up to bring us back to the marina they said docktails would be at 5pm. It was fun to see John and Cathy from Serenity and Mark and Becky from Marabeel. We also met a new couple, Jon and Karen, on Magic.

Titusville Marina has the most manatees that we have ever seen. They like to rub their backs on the boat hull. They love playing in the water outflow from our air conditioner. They crave fresh water and will drink every bit that they can get.

From the Intracoastal we could see the NASA building where rockets are assembled.
