After a very restful week we're ready to continue our journey. We left Green Turtle Bay Marina and headed out onto Barkley Lake, then went through the Barkley Canal to Kentucky Lake. We found a nice secluded anchorage in Sugar Bay just off the lake. It's very quiet here, we hear woodpeckers, birds chirping & fish jumping. The fish are almost jumping in the boat, but none will bite a hook. After dinner, Al built a big fire on the beach.
Tomorrow we'll head further down the lake.
