Fort Walton

Because it was so windy yesterday we decided not to travel and stayed an extra day at Bahia Mar Marina in Pensacola. Al rode his bike to West Marine to get a new fuel line & fuel filter for the dinghy.

The wind was much less this morning so we headed out. Pensacola Bay was still pretty rough with wind and waves from the north. Since we were cutting across the bay to get to the Intracoastal waterway, we were taking the waves on the side and rolling pretty good. Once we got to the waterway the land blocked the wind & waves, so then we had an easy travel day. We went to the free town dock at Fort Walton. We were joined by looper boats Atla & Ocean Breeze.

Tomorrow we plan to go to Panama City.
