Jack's Cove

We headed south to a place called Jack's Cove on Great Guana Cay. We heard it was a nice beach and that there was a trail to walk over to a cove on the ocean side. It was very picturesque on both sides. It was very difficult to find a trail over to the ocean, but after several wrong attempts, we found the right way. What they call a trail here, is really just an area where the foliage is a little less dense so you can walk through it, if you are really determined. Our efforts were rewarded, because Al was able to find 2 sea beans on the ocean side. We have read about them, but never saw any. They are pretty rare and are supposed to bring good luck.

Looks like a castle. Unfortunately, the owner died in a plane crash before he finished his castle.

They don't look like much, but are pretty rare and considered to bring good luck. They could have floated in the ocean from Africa or Costa Rica.

When we don't get our mail in Palm Beach, I bet it ends up here.
